Anthony Hearn
Currently Director of Housing and Communities for Merthyr Valley Homes, Anthony has worked and volunteered in housing, supported housing, and youth and community development organisations for over 30 years. He is passionate about working with people and communities to help them thrive and prosper, a big supporter of foundational economies and transformative power of the social economy, and a huge advocate for equality and social justice.

Former modern languages student at Aberystwyth University. Member of the Tenant Steering Group while Tai Ceredigion was being formed. Former long standing member and Minutes Secretary of the Tai Ceredigion Monitoring Group. Tai Ceredigion Board member since December 2015. The Care Society Board member since April 2018. Aims to ensure that tenants are considered in every Board decision and to help The Care Society to continue to develop, putting the support of vulnerable people at the heart of the business.

Former Chairman and current Vice-Chairman of Tai Ceredigion • Former local government Chief Officer with 30 years experience including in Housing Management • Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Housing • Former Independent member (and Vice-Chairman) of Ceredigion County Council’s Ethics and Standards Committee • Former Board Member of Community Housing Cymru • Board co-optee since March 2016 • Aims to assist Tai Ceredigion in the provision of decent, affordable, and well-managed housing which is essential for good health, supports education and employment, and helps to build and support strong local communities. Committed to working in partnership with other Agencies for the benefit of local communities.

Chair of the Audit and Performance Committee . A Chartered Certified Accountant with over 14 years experience from a variety of roles including 7 within the Social Housing Sector. Currently Head of Finance at Plymouth Community Homes. Links to the local community of Ceredigion and learning to speak Welsh.
Margaret Gallagher

Margaret Gallagher
Margaret is an Australian who has lived in the UK for 26 years, 18 of them in Ceredigion. She has a BSc and MA in Psychology from the University of Sydney. In both Australia and the UK she worked in social care and health for over 20 years, in both the statutory and voluntary sectors, developing and delivering services, both housing-related and direct support, for adults and for families, working at all levels from strategic and managerial to operational and front-line service delivery. She was the original Supporting People Manger for Ceredigion county Council and facilitated the set up of the initiative in the county. After her retirement she undertook a number of courses in visual arts, as well as alternative therapies, and has just completed an MArts in Ancient Civilisations at UWTSD Lampeter. She is passionate about learning and has an extensive and constantly expanding library. Now she has completed her formal studies, she is looking forward to bringing her experience and enthusiasm into her role as an independent board member for the Care Society and trustee at Jig-So Children's Centre in Cardigan.
Mae Margaret yn Awstraliad sydd wedi byw yn y DU am 26 mlynedd gan dreulio 18 o’r rheiny yng Ngheredigion. Mae ganddi BSc ac MA mewn Seicoleg o Brifysgol Sydney. Yn Awstralia a’r DU, bu’n gweithio o fewn sectorau statudol a gwirfoddol y Maes Gofal Cymdeithasol ac Iechyd am dros 20 mlynedd. Bu’n datblygu ac yn darparu gwasanaethau i oedolion a theuluoedd mewn perthynas â thai a chymorth uniongyrchol, a hynny ar bob lefel: strategol, rheolaethol, gweithredol a rheng flaen. Hi oedd Rheolwr Cefnogi Pobl gwreiddiol Cyngor Sir Ceredigion ac yn gyfrifol am hwyluso’r dasg o sefydlu’r fenter yn y Sir. Ar ôl ei hymddeoliad, fe ymgymerodd â nifer o gyrsiau’n ymwneud â’r celfyddydau gweledol yn ogystal â therapïau amgen, ac mae hi newydd gwblhau Gradd Meistr Celfyddyd mewn Gwareiddiadau Hynafol yn PCYDDS Llanbedr Pont Steffan. Mae hi’n angerddol ynghylch dysgu ac mae ganddi lyfrgell helaeth sy’n ehangu’n gyson. A hithau bellach wedi cwblhau ei hastudiaethau ffurfiol, mae’n edrych ymlaen at ddod â’i phrofiad a’i brwdfrydedd i’w rôl fel Aelod Annibynnol o Fwrdd y Gymdeithas Gofal ac fel Ymddiriedolwr yng Nghanolfan Blant Jig-So yn Aberteifi.

Annette Jones
Retired after a 45 year career in Social work, for the last 22 years of that was spent as a Team Manager of a social work team working with Child Protection, children in need & Looked after issues. Consequently I am highly experienced in Multiagency working and appreciative of the interventions offered by The Care Society from a purchaser perspective. Lived in Ceredigion most of my life, Graduate of Aberystwyth University, married, 2 daughters, both now adults & living away from the area. Since retirement in 2021, I spend my time trying to contribute what I can on a volunteer basis, consequently I joined the Care Society Board of Trustees and am active in my local community where I am a community councillor and involved with the local hall and local village show.
Ar ôl 45 mlynedd yn y Maes Cymdeithasol, rwy’i bellach wedi ymddeol o’m gyrfa. Fe dreuliais i’r 22 mlynedd diwethaf o’r cyfnod hwnnw’n gweithredu fel Rheolwr Tîm Gwaith ar gyfer materion yn ymwneud ag Amddiffyn Plant, Plant mewn Angen a Phlant sy’n Derbyn Gofal. O ganlyniad, mae gen i brofiad helaeth o waith aml-asiantaeth yn ogystal â gwerthfawrogiad o’r ymyriadau a gynigir gan y Gymdeithas Gofal o safbwynt y prynwr.
Rwy’i wedi byw yng Ngheredigion y rhan fwyaf o’m hoes ac fe raddiais i ym Mhrifysgol Aberystwyth. Rwy’n briod gyda dwy ferch sydd erbyn hyn yn oedolion ac yn byw i ffwrdd o’r ardal. Ers ymddeol yn 2021, rwy’n treulio fy amser yn ceisio cyfrannu’r hyn a allaf ar sail wirfoddol, ac yn sgil hynny fe ymunais â Bwrdd Ymddiriedolwyr y Gymdeithas Gofal. Rwy’i hefyd yn weithgar yn fy nghymuned leol lle rwy’n Gynghorydd Cymuned ac yn ymwneud â’r Neuadd Leol a’r Sioe Pentre.

Having worked in the charity and not-for-profit sector for the last 15 years, Vicky has encountered the wide range of needs of communities across South Wales and is passionate about ensuring they have access to the right support. Experience in the care and support sector whilst working at Pobl Group has provided insight into the challenges of the sector, particularly around funding and sustainability. Currently Head of Finance at Brandon Trust, Vicky continues to live her passion of supporting people to live the life they want to.
Ar ôl gweithio yn y sector elusennol ac nid-er-elw am y 15 mlynedd diwethaf, mae Vicky wedi dod ar draws ystod eang o anghenion cymunedol ar draws De Cymru, ac mae’n angerddol ynghylch sicrhau bod cymunedau’n cael mynediad at y cymorth cywir. Mae ei phrofiad yn y sector gofal a chymorth wrth weithio yn Grŵp Pobl wedi rhoi cipolwg iddi o’r heriau sy’n wynebu’r maes, yn enwedig o ran cyllid a chynaliadwyedd.

Richard Woolley

Richard Woolley
Richard has over 20 years' experience in the housing sector in senior management positions in both Large-Scale Voluntary Transfers (LSVTs) and traditional housing associations. He has a further 7 years in NHS organisations prior to that. In 2019 richard was appointed as Chief Executive of Connexus following the merger in 2017 of Shropshire Housing and Herefordshire Housing Groups. connexus manages 10,000 properties, is a major employer across the two counties of Shropshire and Hereforedshire and has a development programme of 250 homes a year.
Dros 20 mlynedd o brofiad o weithio yn y sector tai fel uwch-reolwr meun Trosglwyddiadau Gwirfoddol ar Raddfa Fawr a chymdeithasau tai traddodiadol, a 7 mlynedd arall o brofiad blaenorol o weithio yn sefydliadau'r GIG. Yn 2019, cafodd Richard ei benodi'n Brif Weithredwy Connexus yn dilyn unto Grwpiau Tai Swydd Amwythig a Swydd Henffordd yn 2017. Mae Connexus yn rheoli 10,000 o gartrefi, mae'n gyflogwr o bwys ar draws Swydd Amwythig a Swydd Henffordd ac mae'n datblygu 250 o gartrefi bob blwyddyn.
